Description
Dansk: Illustration af Poul Steffensen til Carit Etlars roman Gjøngehøvdingen, der foregår under og efter den Første Karl Gustav-krig i 1657-1658. Ib Abelsøn er blevet gjort til en ærlig mand af Dronning Sophie Amalie, efter at han reddede hende fra et vildsvin dagen før. Han har også fået et guldstykke af hende og jubler nu af glæde.
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Gjøngehøvdingen by Carit Etlar which takes place during and after the Dano-Swedish War in 1657-1658. Ib Abelsøn has been made a honest man by Queen Sophie Amalie after rescuing her from a wild boar the day before. He has also gotten a gold coin from her and now shouts with joy.
