Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Illustration by Poul Steffensen from the Danish novel Gjøngehøvdingen by Carit Etlar which takes place during and after the Dano-Swedish War in 1657-1658. Jungshoved Castle where several parts of the novel takes place is seen above the trees. The castle met its end during the next Dano-Swedish War in 1658–1660. It was probably not so impressive as in the drawing, however.
