Notes
English: The King suffered from a highly virulent variant of rheumatism. He liked to lie long and even took care of state affairs in the bedroom. In the palace rooms he was worn in a chair or litter. Projects of such litters and chairs on wheels by Giovanni Battista Gisleni were executed by the royal carpenter and woodcarver Hanus Hanle.
