Girl suffering from congenital spastic paraplegia
Description

Full length, black and white photograph of a girl, aged 12 years, who suffered from congenital spastic paraplegia. She did not begin to walk until she was two and a half years, and her legs used to cross over before she learnt to walk. She had used crutches for five years.
