Italiano: Giovanni Magherini Graziani Masaccio ricordo delle onoranze rese in San Giovanni di Valdarno nel XXV ottobre 1903 English: Giovanni Magherini Graziani Masaccio remembrance of the honors rendered in San Giovanni di Valdarno on October 25th, 1903.
Giovanni Magherini was born in Figline Valdarno in 1852. Man of profound culture and particularly inclined to historical research into the memories of Città di Castello, which he considered his second homeland. His studies turned mainly to the history of art. In fact, he published a monograph on Masaccio and one on Raphael, as well as an "Art history of Città di Castello". Passionate about the theater, in 1894 his play entitled "Chi tuzzica il can che giace" was performed at the Teatro degli Illuminati in Città di Castello. He was also the promoter of the Philharmonic Society and the Mutual Aid Workers' Society of Città di Castello. He died in 1924.
