Inscriptions
Upper centre, in grey ink, probably in a 17th or early 18th-century hand, partly hidden by a strip of paper glued on to the upper edge, very faint and difficult to decipher: "D[omenico] Cresti"; lower right, in pencil in Emil Block's hand: "Cigoli"; repeated in pencil at the lower left; in a 19th-century hand "AZ"; lower left, in pencil possibly in Emil Block's hand: "N 6"
