Description

The Gilbert is a uniquely-styled box camera, made in London by R.F. Hunter Ltd. and introduced in 1953. It's made of stainless steel, with an attractive crocodile covering. Features include a focusing lens, two shutter speeds, two apertures, and double-exposure prevention. It's also got a nice, bright viewfinder that rotates 90° for landscape shots. This example is shown with its original yellow filter, which fits over the lens.

Another camera I'm happy to cross off my wish list!
