Description
English: Gilbert White's House & Oates Museum, Selborne Gilbert White (1720-93), the famous 18th century ecologist & naturalist lived in Selborne & did most of his work in the surrounding area. His book "The Natural History of Selborne" (1787), was until the Harry Potter books came along the 4th most published book in Britain.
