Description
English: Gilbert H. Carmack, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Carmack, was one of the first residents of Upper Arlington. He was born on September 15, 1884, and in 1918 he worked for the real estate brokerage firm of Zinn & Robbins in Columbus. In 1920, he married Dorothy Fieser of 17 Wilson Avenue at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on East Broad Street. After their marriage, the couple lived at 1143 Ashland Avenue in Grandview Heights. Gil and Dorothy had two children, Justine and Dan, and the family eventually moved to 1753 Upper Chelsea Road in Upper Arlington.
