| Description |
English: Getting ready for a Merryton Christmas To complement the photo of Merryton railway station already on this site and taken about a month after its opening just before Christmas 2005, here, in August of that year, the new station there was never one on or near this site during the Larkhall line's previous incarnation from 1905 to 1965 is under construction. It is taken through the fence in Summerlee Road and the footbridge is also new, saving potential rail travellers living east of the line a long walk round via the Hamilton Road bridge almost half a mile away. |
