Description
Deutsch: Aschaffenburger "Gespensterturm"
Der so genannte Gespensterturm ist einer der wenigen noch erhaltenen Wehrtürme des mittelalterlichen Aschaffenburg. Er wurde um 1380 errichtet und befindet sich heute am Rande des Parks Schöntal. Der dreigeschossige Bau hat einen quadratischen Grundriss. Die oberen Geschosse sind mit größeren Fenstern versehen und dienten dem Türmer, der für die Sicherheit der Stadt verantwortlich war, als Wohnung.
