Deutsch: Der Geschinersee ist ein künstlich errichteter See, Nach dem Lawinenwinter 1999 wurde in Geschinen ein Lawinenleitdamm gebaut. Das Material, welches zum Aufschütten des Dammes gebraucht wurde, hinterliess auf dem abgebauten Flugplatzfeld eine grosse Grube. Daraus entstand der Geschiner See.
English: The Geschinersee is an artificially constructed lake. After the avalanche winter 1999 an avalanche safety dam was built in Geschinen. The material needed to pile up the dam left a large pit on the degraded airfield. This resulted in the Geschiner lake.
Italiano: Il Geschinersee è un lago costruito artificialmente e dopo le valanghe invernale del 1999 è stata costruita una diga di sicurezza valanghe a Geschinen. Il materiale necessario per ammucchiare la diga ha lasciato un grande pozzo sull'aerodromo degradato. Ciò ha provocato il lago Geschiner.
Français : Le Geschinersee est un lac construit artificiellement. Après l'hiver 1999 avec toutes ses avalanches, un barrage de sécurité contre les avalanches a été construit à Geschinen. Le matériel nécessaire pour entasser le barrage a laissé une grande fosse sur le terrain d'aviation dégradé. Cela a abouti au lac Geschiner. |
