Oblong centsprent met een litho met 2 x 4 afbeeldingen van het verhaal van een vrouw die haar hond dood ziet liggen, naar de bakker gaat en hem daarna weer levend vindt. Ze gaat naar de slager en de hond rookt een pijp, ze gaat naar de hoedenmaker en de hond voert de kat, ze gaat naar de fruitvrouw en de hond speelt fluit, ze gaat naar de kleermaker en de hond rijdt op een geit, ze gaat naar een linnenverkoopster en de hond is aan het spinnen. Ze is gek op de hond en stort bittere tranen bij zijn dood. Bevat tweeregelige onderschriften in Nederlands en Frans.
