Description
Deutsch: "Rückkehr seines seit der Schlacht bei Belgrad von Herzog Karl Alexander von Württemberg vermißten Mopshundes im Schloßhofe zu Winnental. 1717." Im Park von Schloss Winnental begrüßt Herzog Carl Alexander von Württemberg-Winnental seinen Mopshund, der freudig an ihm hinaufspringt. - Hintergrund: Die Legende besagt, dass der Mops dem Herzog während der Schlacht von Belgrad verloren ging und dann selbstständig nach Hause zurückkehrte. Für den langen Weg soll er nur elf Tage gebraucht haben. Später wurde dem "Winnender Mops" im äußeren Schlosshof ein Denkmal errichtet. Heute dient er der Stadt und dem Einzelhandel als Marketinginstrument.
