Description
Deutsch: "Gottesdienst in der Sankt-Wendelskirche zu Winnenden im elften Jahrhundert." Ein Priester hebt vor den Gottesdienstteilnehmern die rechte Hand zum Segen. In der linken Hand hält er ein dickes Buch, vermutlich eine Bibel. Auf dem Altar hinter ihm stehen eine Skulptur des Heiligen Wendelin, Zierpflanzen in Töpfen mit Untersatz und eine brennende Kerze. Der Blick fällt auch auf das Geschehen außerhalb der Kapelle. - Hintergrund: Der Heilige Wendelin wurde im Mittelalter als Schutzheiliger der Stadt verehrt.
