Das kostbare Obergewand heißt in Persien und Mittelasien Chal'at -; in der eigentlichen arabischen Form Chil'at -; in Mittel-asien besteht es aus bunter Seide oder Tuch und wird von der russischen Regierungan eingeborene Beamte oder als Ehrengeschenk verliehen. Stiefel, Überschuhe und Turban von Musselin vervollständigen den Anzug.
