Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Germond Block in downtown Spokane, Washington. One of the more substantial buildings put up after the great fire, real estate and mining magnate Eugene Germond went outside the state for its design, contracting the Reid Brothers firm of San Diego. It is the only survivor among the several unique office buildings they designed in the city. Upon its completion in 1890 the Germond building's upper floors served as a temporary city hall.
