Description The former German large torpedoboat SMS S 132 underway while serving with the U.S. Navy. S 132 was commissoned on 2 October 1917 and was interned with the German High Seas Fleet at Scapa Flow, Scotland (UK), on 22 November 1918. After a failed scuttling on 21 June 1919, she was taken over by the U.S. Navy. Following extensive trials, she was sunk as a target off Cape Henry on 15 July 1921 by the battleship USS Delaware (BB-28) and the destroyer USS Herbert (DD-160).
