Description
English: German poster in occupied Poland (dated 13 July 1943), signed by Commandant of SD and Sicherheitspolizei in Bezirk Bialystok (district of Białystok), announcing mass repressions against the population of district (in the retaliation for actions of resistance movement). Announcement informs i.a. about pacification of Polish village Szaulicze (now in Belarus) and about mass executions in Bialystok, Wasilków and Łomża area.
Polski: Obwieszczenie komendanta SD i policji bezpieczeństwa w dystrykcie białostockim z 13 lipca 1943, informujące o masowych represjach zastosowanych wobec ludności dystryktu w odwecie za akcje ruchu oporu. Obwieszczenie informuje m.in. o spaleniu polskiej wsi Szaulicze, a także o masowych egzekucjach w Białymstoku, Wasilkowie i rejonie Łomży.
