Description Jews of Łuków, Poland in the Ghetto in 1941. Ber (Dev) Erlich Salushania, great-father of Meir Dagan (1945–2016), former chief of the Mossad, being humiliated by German Feldgendarmerie MPs before being shot. The majority of the Jewish community of Łuków was murdered in the Holocaust. There were only about 150 survivors in total after World War II, most of whom had left for the Soviet Union.
