English: This intricate enameled locket unfolds to reveal six scenes from the life of Christ: the Annunciation, the Adoration of the Shepherds, and the Resurrection on the exterior; the Agony in the Garden, the Last Supper, and the Crucifixion on the interior. The owner of this locket would have used them for meditative prayer.
