English: The German Empire and its colonial possessions in 1914. Note : Kaiser-Wilhelmsland, South pacific Islands and Nauru constitute the protectorate of New-Guinea. Feb.16, 2023: Matches coastlines and boundaries with available 1914 maps. Removed reservoirs from hydraulic dams not yet built (Nile, Dnieper). Libya, Italian since 1911, had brought together Ottoman Tripolitania and Fezzan.
The British annexation of Kuwait had not canceled the possession of Hasa by the Ottoman Empire. In China, Mongolia had not yet been divided into "inner" and "outer", still included again the Tannu-Tuva (until 1921); Tibet had not yet been divided between Xizang and Qinghai. Mongolia and Tibet were autonomous but not independent. In Latin America, Bolivia still had Acre and Peru the right bank of the Amazon, thus bordering on Colombia.
