English: Page from the 1933 edition of Norske folkeviser (English translation: "Norwegian Folk Ballads"), a Norwegian book, hand-written and illustrated by the artist Gerhard Munthe (1869–1929). The originals were drawn between 1918 and 1923, but were posthumously released as a limited edition of 200 copies in 1933, printed by Dreyers Grafiske Anstalt in Stavanger, Norway. New editions were published in 1943 and 1986.
The book presents the following Norwegian folk ballads (traditional medieval ballads):
Norsk bokmål: Side fra 1933-utgaven av Norske folkeviser, en bok håndtekstet og illustrert av maleren og illustratøren Gerhard Munthe (1869–1929). Originalillustrasjonene ble tegnet i perioden 1918–1923, men utgitt posthumt i en bibliofilutgave trykt i 200 eksemplarer ved Dreyers grafiske anstalt i Stavanger i 1933. Nye opplag kom på Dreyers forlag i Oslo i 1944 og i 1986.
