Description
English: A drawing by greek poet Georgios Souris (1853-1919) published in his satirical newspaper, Romios, which makes fun of the rehearsals of the tragedy "Antigoni" by the defender of "kathareyousa" (archaeotypal) language G. Mistriotis during the preparations for the 1896 Athens Olympics.
The caption reads: "The Antigone rehearsals-watch them and be stupified"
