[edit]DescriptionGeorgian house, Dublin (33873184500).jpg |
To continue this "Wiltshire Week" we have this image of a house with a long garden and a straight footpath leading to the door. I always loved these Georgian doors, with the fancy fanlight above to draw light into the hallway behind. If the Wiltshires were shooting in digital would they retain this shot where the roof has been cut off and the horizon is slightly askew? Personally I think those slight 'defects' add to the charm! With thanks in particular today to [/photos/scorbet/ sharon.corbet] we have confirmation that this is likely number 31 Wellington Place in Dublin 4. And, at the time this image was captured, may have been owned by the Slazenger family...
