Explanational Asomta-menian alphabet

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Graphical similarity between Armenian alphabet and the Old Georgian alphabet known as Asomtavruli. Many believe the similarity related to the notion that both alphabets were invented in the 5th century by the same historical figure - Mesrob Mashtots (362 – February 17, 440), an Armenian theologian, linguist and hymnologist.
