Rückseite: COGNATA - AD SIDE-RA TENDIT [Er strebt zu den ihm verwandten Sternen empor]. Der preußische Adler fliegt nach rechts auf drei Sterne zu. Kommentar: Diese Medaille, oder besser dieser Jeton, ist 1751 im Auftrag der Akademie der Wissenschaften von dem Medailleur Georgi geschaffen worden. Der preußische Adler steigt zum Sternbild des Aquila (echter Adler) hinauf. Das Porträt von Georgi ist eines der schönsten Medaillenporträts des Königs. Literatur: H.
