Description
English: Signature of George L. Harrison, assistant to United States Secretary of War Henry L. Stimson, cropped from Harrison's cover memorandum transmitting to Stimson the "Memorandum on the Use of S-1 Bomb" from Under Secretary of the Navy Ralph Austin Bard recommending a warning to Japan before dropping the atomic bomb. Harrison had also been president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and of the New York Life Insurance Company.
