COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Sept. 3, 2015) Sailors from the aircraft carrier USS George H. W. Bush (CVN 77) tour the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum during a namesake visit to College Station, Texas, and neighboring communities. The library serves to preserve and explain the legacy of President George H. W. Bush. It contains 44 million pages of documents, two million still photos, 10,000 videos, and 122,000 museum objects. The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is part of the Blue Star Museums program, which offers free admission to military families at more than 2,000 museums across the country. USS George H. W. Bush is currently undergoing its planned incremental availability maintenance period at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia.
