Русский: Княжна Варвара Алексеевна Черкасская (11.09.1711–2.10.1767), единственная дочь канцлера Алексея Михайловича Черкасского и его второй жены Марии Юрьевны, урожденной княжны Трубецкой. "Самая богатая невеста России". С 1741 г. Варвара Алексеевна — фрейлина при Анне Иоанновне и первая в России камер–фрейлина (25.04.1742) при Елизавете Петровне, с 1743 г. — статс–дама при Екатерине II.
С 1743 г. супруга Петра Борисовича Шереметева. Выгодный брак сделал Шереметева самым богатым помещиком России. Его имения раскинулись по 17 губерниям и включали в себя 130 сел, 1066 больших деревень, 26 слобод, 464 хутора и пустых участка. В приданое Варвары Алексеевны входили усадьбы в Останкине, Марьине и живописная местность Марьина Роща. В распоряжении графа находились собственные живописцы, архитекторы, мраморщики, лепщики, резчики, оконщики, столяры и др. Дети: Анна, Борис–Порфирий, Алексей, Мария, Варвара, Николай. |
