Русский: «Лесли Георгий Юрьевич (1720/1722–1773). В 1736 поступил на военную службу, 1737 подпоручик, 1740 капитан, 1745 секунд-майор, 1749 премьер-майор, 1753 подполковник, 1755 полковник. В 1764 вышел в отставку в чине генерал-майора. В 1749 служил в Киевском драгунском полку. Изображен в драгунском мундире.». (описание на сайте Русского музея). «Г. Гроот (?). Gremsir.» Русский: «Портрет графа Джорджио Лесли, с подлинным его гербом, писан ровно в 29 лет, 1749 года, 6 февраля, Кремзир» (пер. с Italian). «Егоръ Юрьевич Лесли Бывшiй въ 1736 взять в плeнъ турками, в 1745 произведен в Мiоры, въ 1765 году въ Генералы. Имелъ сына Дмитрiя.» (надпись пером на обороте старого дублировочного холста). «Г. Ю. Лесли. В Сорочинцах в церкви Преображения где погребен предпоследний малороссийский гетман в 1734 г.
