Remarks InfoField | Deutsch: Solche Geoden – hier als Mandel – sind ein häufiger Fund in der ehemaligen Tongrube an der Bergstrasse in Preußisch Oldendorf der ehemaligen Ziegelei und verdeutlicht beispielhaft die geologische Beschaffenheit des Mittleren Dogger der Nordegge. Ammoniten werden ebenfalls zahlreich aus härterem Material gefunden. Bei der Entstehung der ‚Oldendorfer Schweiz‘ wurde solches Material durch das Bachsystem des Oldendorfer Mühlbachs ‚Großer Dieckfluss‘ reichlich ausgeräumt.
Die abgebildete sandig-tonige Mandel (Ton-Eisen-Geode) – größte Abmessung 57 mm – wird sich um eingeschlossenes organisches Material schalig verfestigt haben. Die Größe kann für den Fundort als typisch gelten. |
