Gennes (Maine-et-Loire) Dolmen de la Pagerie ou Pierre Couverte de la Pagerie. La chambre mesure 10,65 m de long et 5 m de large intérieur, précédé d'un portique. Une dalle de fond, deux supports latéraux sud, un seul côté nord. Deux dalles de couverture. La dalle antérieure repose à terre du côté nord. De ce côté, la dalle mesure 1,20 m d'épaisseur. Ce dolmen à portique rétréci est fait en grès à vermiculures. D'après un plan de M. Léon de Lorière, au Musée St Jean d'Angers, un lusus naturae* simule une tête de bovidé sur laquelle un oeil aurait été rapporté. Fouillé en 1897, par MM d'Achon et de Farcy, un squelette avait été découvert, placé à 6 m du fond, les pieds vers l'entrée. Plus récemment, ce sont des débris de brique romaine et des éclats de silex blond qui ont été trouvés par Michel Gruet (1912-1998). Il y a un siècle se voyaient encore à l'arrière les restes du tumulus, totalement disparus depuis, à cause des travaux agricoles.

More recently, they are debris of Roman brick and flint flakes blond who have been found by Michel Gruet (1912-1998). There is a century saw still in the back of the tumulus remains totally disappeared since, due to agricultural work.
