CELOSIA, OR COCKSCOMB. C ar alia, Mixed. (" Tassel Flower," " Flora's Paint Brush," etc.) Very pretty summer-flowering garden plant; prized for cut- ting, IY2 ft. H.A. 5c. CELOSIA, or Cockscomb. President Thiers. Finest of all Cockscombs. Height, 18 to 24 inches. H.H.A. 10c. New Giant Empress. Combs are very large, bright purple; foliage dark, very pretty. H. H. A. 5c. Scarlet Japan. Combs large, brilliant scarlet, 3 ft. H. II. A. 5c. Sulphur. Light yellow combs, 1 ft. H.H.A. 5c. Reid's Perfection. A beautiful variety, with feathered plumes of rich magenta red. H. H. A. 10c. Golden Featherhead. Three feet high, and the main stem puts forth 30 to 35 branches, each crowned with a magnificent feathery flower head of a bright orange color. H H.A. 10c. Feathered Varieties, Mixed. Our Acme mixture of feath- ered varieties will give excellent satisfaction. H. H. A. 5c. Acme Mixture, Dwarf Varieties. All the choicest dwarf varieties mixed, H.H.A. 5c. Calandrinia Grandiflora. Very beautiful dwarf-growing annual for the flower garden. In the sunshine the large rose- colored flowers expand into a perfect blaze of beauty, 1 ft. II. A. 5c. ; EUPHFORBIA. ("Snow on the Mountain.") A showy f border plant, with foliage veined and margined with white; a native of the Western States; very attractive. 5c. " Annual Poinsettia," or " Fire on the Mountain." An annual bushy plant, with highly ornamental leaves which, in summer and autumn, become blazed with a darker fiery scarlet, so that only a tip of green is left. Also valuable as a pot plant, 3 to 4 ft. 10c. A charming dwarf annual, forming dense tufts, covered with ; purple and yellow flowers; suitable for edgings, Y± ft. H.A. 10c. f GAILLORDIA GRANDIFLORA. Exceedingly beauti- ful annuals, making very showy plants, one to two feet high, for the flower garden. Grown in masses they are especially effective; large flowers, two or three inches across, produced from early sum- mer until frost; unrivaled for cutting. Amblyodon. Rich blood-red. 5c. Grandiflora. Mixed varieties. 5c. Lorenziana, or Double Flowering;. Large round heads, composed of thirty to fifty flowers of orange, claret, amaranth, sulphur, etc. 5c. Single Flowered Varieties. Mixed. 5c. Glauceum Luteum. ("Horned Poppy.") Silver leaved hardy perennial plants with remarkably bright yellow flowers pro- duced in great abundance all summer; very effective border plant, 1 to 2 ft. H.P. 5c. GLOBE AMARANTH, ("Bachelor's Buttons") and the "Amaranth" of the poets. They are annuals, forming bushy plants about two feet high, and bearing sometimes several hun- dred flowers of purple, white, striped, etc. Very ornamental as summer-blooming plants, and indispensable as " Everlastings." Alba. 5c. Dwarf Red. (Nana Compacta Rubra.) 5c. Dwarf White. (Nana Compacta Alba.) 5c. Dwarf Flesh. (Nana Compacta Camea.) 5c. Mixed Colors. 5c. Nana Compacta. Mixed. Pyramidal plants, only a few inches high, one mass of flowers; pretty for edgings or pots. 5c. GODFTIA. A very attractive hardy annual; profuse flower- ing plants, growing in any garden soil. All colors, 1 ft. 5c. Duchess of Albany. Glossy satin white, produced in great profusion, 12 in. 5c. Bijou. Flowers splendid white, with a dark rose spot; not over six inches high, forming carpet-like bushes of twelve inches and over in diameter, bearing 200 to 300 flowers to a plant. 5c. Lady Satin Rose. Unequaled for brilliancy and richness of color. The flowers, which are produced in remarkable abundance, are of a brilliant deep rose pink, the surface shining like satin. 5c. The Rrice. White, with crimson center. 5c. Fairy Queen. A charming variety, with large pure white flower, bordered with satin rose and beautifully spotted with carmine. 10c. White Pearl. 5c. Mixed. All the above varieties. 5c. GOURDS. Very desirable for covering old fences, stumps, arbors, etc. T. A.,15 to 20 ft. Large Ornamental Sorts, Packet, sc. Sugar Thought. Nest Egg. Dipper. Bottle. Orange. Mixed. Hercules Club. GLOXINIA. Most charming greenhouse plants, of dwarf habit. T. P., 1 foot- LARGE FLOWERING. Choice mixed; packet, 20c. SCARLET DEFIANCE. Glowing crimson-scarlet, frilled edges; packet, 25c. EMPEROR FREDERICK. Vivid scarlet, with clear white band; packet, 20c. HELIANTHUS (Dahlia Sunflower). Remarkable for the stately growth, size and brilliancy of their flowers, making a very good effect among shrubbery and for screens. The seed is also good for feeding poultry. H.A. OSCAR WILDE. Single, bright golden yellow, while the center of the flower is black; 4 feet; 5c. NANUS. Flowers very double, 5 to 7 inches in diameter, and of a golden color; 2)4 feet; 5c. GLOROSUS FISTULOSUS. Flowers very large, globular and double, of rich saffron color; 6 feet; 5c. SILVER-LEAVED. Flowers numerous, single, with black center. The plant is covered with a dense, silky-white felt, hence its name; 6 feet; 5c. MINIATURE. Flowers single, bright yellow, with dark center. Plants are dwarf and bushy, very free blooming, with small,fine foliage; 5c. HELIPTERUM SANFORDI. • A very desirable "everlasting." Pretty annual, producing large clusters of yellow flowers; 1 foot. H. A.; 5c. HOLLYHOCKS. DOURLE WHITE. Extra strain of perfectly double, pure, white flowers; 5c, DOURLE PINK. Very fine; 5c. CRIMSON. Double, striking; 5c. SALMON. Double, bright salmon color; 5c.
