English: Regarding payment of officers who resign or are dismissed. Handwritten and printed copies.
Transcription: War Dept.s G. O March 15th / 64 G.O. No 103 I am Officer on leave who resigns. will be paid to the date given in the acceptance of his resignation II an Officer on duty who resigned will be paid to the date at which he received notice of the acceptance of his resignation provided he continued on duty till that time, otherwise to the date when he was relieved from duty III an Officer on leave when he is dropped or dismissed from the military service will be paid to the date inclusive of the order dropping or dismissing him provided no other time be specified in the order as the date when his pay should cease or when he ceased to be an officer and in such case to the date specified. IV an Officer on duty or in hospital when he is dropped or dismissed from the military service will be paid to the date at which the order dropping or dismissing him was received at his post or hospital if no other time be specified in the order as the date when he ceased to be an officer and in each case to the date so specified V an Officer dismissed by sentence of court martial will be paid to the date when the order approving the sentence was received at the Post where the Officer was if no other time be specified in the sentence or in the order promulgating it as the termination of his pay and service Title: General Orders, No. 103, of E.D.
