English: General Mining Association's (GMA's) 0-6-0 steam locomotive 'Samson' at Albion Mines, Pictou County. The locomotive was built by Timothy Hackworth of Shildon, County Durham, UK and went into service on the first part of the new railway in 1839. Samson is preserved at the Nova Scotia Museum of Industry in Stellarton. The coach is now in the Baltimore & Ohio Museum, Baltimore. |
