Description
Marked on the front bottom: "General Ben. Harrison's Private Parlor/in Residence, 674 North Delaware street, Indianapolis, Ind.,/His sword which he used while Coronal of the 70th Indiana Volunteer Infantry./ Harrie Rose, Photographer, 137 West Washington St., Indianapolis, Ind."; On the right is a desk covered with a drape. On it is a large box with a front opening projected from the box. A three legged chair is in from of table. /Between the fireplace and table is a small table with fringed cloth covering it. A tea pot and framed picture is on the table. The fireplace is dark with a tripod placed in front. A large portrait of William Henry is over the mantle. Two handled vases with peacock feathers are placed on each end and two white busts and on the mantle. A armed chair is placed the left of the fireplace with small side table. The door to the next room has beads tied to the side. An electric ceiling light is in the center of the room. The floor is covered with a rug.
