Description
El lienzo representa al general español Francisco Javier Rocabertí Dameto (1802-1875), marqués de Bellpuig y de Anglesola, conde de Peralada y Grande de España, fallecido en 1875. Aparece retratado vistiendo el uniforme de general del ejército español y portando la banda de la Orden de San Hermenegildo. El día 30 de enero de 1816 el Ayuntamiento de Palma aprobó el pago de 2000 reales al pintor Vicente López por haber realizado el retrato del marqués de Bellpuig.
