Description
English: The Gemini Augmented Target Docking Adapter ATDA during pre-flight checkout in the Kennedy Space Center's Cryogenic Building. The ATDA is being used because the Agena Target Vehicle failed to achieve orbit on May 17th, 1966, causing the postponement of the Gemini 9 mission. The mission renamed Gemini 9-A has been rescheduled for May 31st.
