| Description |
English: Djauli Manik National Building is a building/hall located in the center of Sidikalang, the capital of Dairi Regency. The name of this building is taken from one of the Pakpak/Dairi ethnic figures during the Indonesian independence period. This building has the motif of the Pakpak traditional house, which is one of the indigenous tribes of North Sumatra, and is often grouped as one of the ethnic groups of the Batak Tribe. This building is also often used as a location for holding government and community events/activities in Dairi Regency.
Bahasa Indonesia: Gedung Nasional Djauli Manik adalah Gedung/Balai yang tertetak di pusat kota Sidikalang, Ibukota Kabupaten Dairi. Nama gedung ini diambil dari salah satu tokoh Etnis Pakpak/Dairi pada masa kemerdekaan Indonesia. Gedung ini bermotifkan rumah adat Pakpak, yaitu salah satu suku asli Sumut, dan kerap dikelompokkan sebagai salah satu etnis dari Rumpun Suku Batak. Gedung ini juga kerap digunakan sebagai lokasi menyelenggarakan acara/kegiatan pemerintahan maupun masyarakat Kabupaten Dairi. |
