Memorial Place of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution /other name Memorial Wall of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution/ by János Saxon-Szász and Jánosi János (2007? for the 50th anniversary and 2017 works for the 60th anniversary) on the Török creek left bank. About the artworks from artist (2017 speech at the memorial): The Memorial Wall is abstractly made up of 7x8=56 concrete cubes. Breaking the wall means freedom. Overhanging reinforced concrete iron fibers indicate continuity of missing 'cubes' of loss. - In 2017 for the 60th anniversary of 1956 Hungarian Revolution significatly remodelled based on plans of the Ybl Prize winner, local chief architect János Jánosi. Illuminated since 2017. Sixty red cubes erected at this place, these refer to blood and the 60th anniversary - Lévai Street, Szokolya, Pest County, Hungary.
