Inscription on plaque: 24 October A crown put on a the heroes monument (note: after WWII probaly removed maybe with star changed). The (red) star in the communist party room was crushed. a people's meeting was held, where Péter Cseh, the old teacher (note: and Kantor, religious vocalist) of the village, gave a speech. Plaque at Memorial Place of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution /other name Memorial Wall of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution/ by János Saxon-Szász on the Török creek left bank. About the artworks from artist (2017 speech at the memorial): The Memorial Wall is abstractly made up of 7x8=56 concrete cubes. Breaking the wall means freedom. Overhanging reinforced concrete iron fibers indicate continuity ofmissing 'cubes' of loss. - In 2017 for the 60th anniversary of 1956 Hungarian Revolution significatly remodelled based on plans of the Ybl Prize winner, local chief architect János Jánosi. Illuminated since 2017. 60 red cubes erected at this place, these refer to blood and the 60th anniversary -Lévai Street, Szokolya, Pest County, Hungary.

1956-os emlékhely /máshol ötvenhatos Emlékmű-fal/ (2006 v. 2007). 50. évforduló tiszteletére emelt emlékfal (Saxon-Szász János képzőművész alkotása; a művész úr 2016 óta Szokolya Község Díszpolgára). Az alkotó leírása: az Emlékmű-fal absztrakt módon 7x8=56 betonkockából tevõdik össze. A fal áttörései a szabadságot jelentik. A túlfutó vasbeton vasszálak a folytonosságot a hiányzó 'kockák' a veszteséget jelzik. - 2017-ben a 60. évforduló tiszteletére az igényes térburkolaton felül 60 vörös térkocka került elhelyezésre, melyek az eltelt 60 évre és az áldozatoknak tisztelegvén vércseppekre utalnak. Díszvilágítást is kapott az emlékhely. Az emlékfal környezetének terveit Jánosi János Ybl díjas építész, Szokolya fõépítésze készítette. Info: Szokolyai Híradó XXI. évf. 2017. évi 2. szám. Emléktáblák a helyi eseményekról: pl. 1956. október 23. Éjszaka kék színû krétával felírták a kerítésekre és a hidakra: „Holnap 2 órakor tüntetés!” és „Ruszkik haza!; Október 24. Koronát tûztek a hõsök emlékmûvére, a párthelységen lévõ csillagot leverték. A Szokolyai Híradó 2017. évi II. szám alapján Október 26.-án történt hogy ... népgyûlést tartottak, ahol beszédet mondott Cseh Péter, a község régi tanítója... - Pest megye, Szokolya, Lévai utca kb. 3 számmal szemben, az iskola és Aradi utca között a Török-patak bal partja mentén
