Summary

[edit]
Description

Skrzynka pocztowa - Literally Post Box. Perhaps it is so labelled because it is an historic post box ,in an unusual colour for modern Poland, perhaps dating from the time of the Polish Post Office in the Free City of Gdansk (Freie Stadt Danzig) I think it was attached to the famous Poczta 1, Post Office No 1 where the siege which started World War II occurred. More details about that event in that other page.
