Sa Juice dAlger est une aquarelle excellente, limpide et solidetout ensemble, légère et ferme. Avant même que la gouache neût re-haussé la gaze rayée de satin qui couvre les bras du modèle, sa têteexpressive, brune, à reflets olivâtres, se détachait sur un fond presquede même valeur. Malgré la richesse dune veste soutachée dor, ce qui estle plus voyant, aprts la tête, cest une main modelée à merveille, et oùlon sent battre le pouls.
