Description
English: View of Knoxville, Tennessee, USA, looking across the river from the south end of the Gay Street Bridge, circa late-1860s. The bridge shown was destroyed by a flood, and replaced by a covered bridge in 1875, which in turn was destroyed by a tornado after its construction.
