Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Gavel Gap. This former gate, now an ugly stile of concrete building blocks, is the official end (or beginning) of the Ribble Way. This is a parish boundary and for some reason the right of way stops at this point although it is a simple matter to continue three-quarters of a mile to join the Pennine Way near Cold Keld Gate.
