Deutsch: Schloss Gaugrehweiler. Wild- und Rheingraf Carl Maguns von Grumbach übernahm 1740 die Herrschaft nach dem Tode seines Vaters als 22jähriger und begann 1748 mit der Erbauung dieses großen Schlosses im Stile Versailles, das schließlich 180 tausend Gulden verschlang. Er gab hier glänzende Feste. Zu seinem Hofstaat gehörten Hofkavaliere und Hoffräulein, Husaren, Haiducken, Mohren und Hofmusikanten. Das Kleinod des Grehweiler Hofes war aber der große Marstall von 120 Pferden. Der Bauherr war total verschuldet und wurde in Wien wegen Betrug angeklart. Kaiser Josef II. verurteilte ihn 1775 zu zehn Jahren Haft in Königstein/Taunus. Er starb verarmt im Schloss, hatte zuletzt nur ein Pferd. Der Bauherr hatte keine männlichen Nachkommen. Seine Linie starb mit ihn aus. Die Französische Revolutionsarmee übernahmen nicht nur seine Grafschaft. Schloss wurde nach seinem Tod zum Abriss versteigt.
