Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Gate Guardian The RAF Museum has a Bristol Bloodhound missile as its gate guardian. It is common practice for airbases to have guardians, though they more often take the form of retired aircraft that used to fly from the base. Most of the aircraft that flew from Hendon when it was an active airfield would be too fragile for such a role. Beyond is the pedestrian entrance and the main gate.
