Description
Deutsch: Das Gasthaus zum Scharfen Eck ist ein Gebäude in der oberfränkischen Stadt Kronach. Die Stadt ließ 1872 eine Hinweistafel an dem Gebäude anbringen, wonach es sich um das Geburtshaus des Malers Lucas Cranach handeln sollte. Dies ist inzwischen jedoch widerlegt: Cranachs Elternhaus stand an der Nordseite des Marktplatzes, wo sich das neue Rathaus der Stadt befindet. Vermutlich diente das heutige Gasthaus zum Scharfen Eck der Familie Cranach aber zeitweise als Wohnhaus.
