English: British Mk IV gas mask, WW2 box respirator with black rubber face mask, red coloured filter canister and short stockinette-covered corrugated rubber breathing tube; in green canvas satchel, together with mirror and tin of anti-gas ointment No 8 (and two pieces of ‘paper’ in satchel) markings- .1 canvas satchel stamped under lid- IV MAPLE 1940 (broad arrow) 77” .2 mask- numerous serial numbers on eyepiece and headpiece; moulded letters on rubber face panel- NORMAL .2 filter- maker’s details stamped on base- No 4A.
